Region 5 of the Northwest Baptist Convention is made up of Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, and Northeastern Oregon. There is great variety contained within this vast region – mountains and farmland, dry desert and lush green land.
There are cities here (Spokane, Yakima, Tri-Cities, Moses Lake, Wenatchee, Coeur D’Alene, Lewiston, Pendleton and Baker City) and smaller towns, too (Ritzville, Coulee City, Sandpoint, Omak, Heppner, and Warden.) It is suburban and rural, young and the old, churches proclaiming the Gospel, and those without Christ.
Nestled in the region are eight Native American reservations; Native American Church planters are needed. Church planters are needed to plant churches in a variety of cultures and settings, in both rural towns and cities. A deaf church planter is needed. Contemporary and traditional churches are needed. There are many more needs and places to plant. God is at work and is sending workers into the harvest. Are you one of those workers?
